If you no longer want to use voicemail on your number, you can easily turn it off by following the steps below:
Option 1: Using Call Forwarding Settings (Works on most phones)
Voicemail is usually enabled through call forwarding. Disabling it will turn off voicemail.
Steps:
Open your phone's Settings
Go to Call Settings (or "Phone" settings)
Tap on Call Forwarding
You'll see options like:
Forward when busy
Forward when unanswered
Forward when unreachable
Disable all forwarding options
Once disabled, calls will no longer be routed to voicemail.
Option 2: Using Dial Codes (Operator-specific)
You can turn off voicemail using USSD codes. Try dialing: ##002# → Disables all call forwarding (recommended). Press Call
This works for most operators like Airtel, Jio, and Vodafone Idea.
