How to manage eSIM plan & data?

  1. How do I manage my eSIM plans?

Open the Truecaller app (iOS) or the website to see your active plans, remaining data, validity, and purchase history. On the app you can find this in the eSIM tab; on the website it's the My Plans page.

  1. How do I check my remaining data?

On the eSIM tab (app) or My Plans page (website), you can see your plan status (Not Activated, Active, or Expired), total data included, data used, and days of validity remaining.

You'll also be notified via push & email when you're running low on data.

  1. How do I top up if I run out of data

Once a plan is Active, a "Top up" button appears on the eSIM screen (app) and My Plans page (website). Tap it to purchase additional data and complete payment.

  1. What if I run out of data while I'm out?

If you topped up in advance, your connection continues without interruption. If you haven't topped up yet, you'll need a Wi-Fi connection to open the app or website and purchase more data.

  1. How do I know if my eSIM is active?

Two ways: check for an LTE or 5G signal indicator on your phone, or log in to the app/website and check the plan status on the dashboard. If it shows "Active," your plan is live and validity has started.

  1. How do I switch network operator on my eSIM?

If you're having trouble connecting, go to Settings > Cellular / Mobile Service > [your Travel plan] > Network Selection and choose an alternate operator manually. Do this only if suggested so by the Truecaller Support team.

  1. Are there any additional fees?

No. You pay when you purchase a plan and again only if you top up. There are no recurring or hidden charges from Truecaller.


That said, if Data Roaming is still enabled on your primary SIM or Data Switching is on, your home carrier may charge for data used abroad. Make sure both are disabled while travelling.
