Truecaller Chat has no message history at the moment so yes, they will be lost, but all your media files are stored in your media folder.
Important! Make a backup of your Truecaller account to backup your messages, chats, contacts, call log, search history, and app settings. To enable this, go to Truecallers settings -> Backup.
