Truecaller protects you from spammers by downloading a list of top spammers in your area. For Premium users, this list is downloaded & updated automatically whereas free users will not be able to manually update the spam list.
Note: Starting Truecaller iOS 16.0 and above, you don't need to auto-update the spam list as it is automatically updated in the background.
Updating your spam list on Truecaller is easy. Follow these steps to update:
- Open the Truecaller app on your iPhone.
- Tap on the Protect tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on Update now.
- Tap on Update manually on your Spam Protection to update your Spam list.
Truecaller now requires iOS 18.2 or later for the Caller ID to function properly
