How does Truecaller work in iPhone?

With Truecaller on your iPhone, unwanted calls are identified instantly, giving you the power to decide whether to pick up or let it go. And for iOS 18.2 and later, Truecaller offers a major upgrade: with Truecaller Premium, you’ll get complete caller identification on all incoming calls, helping you take full control over who reaches you.
If you are not a Premium subscriber you won't be able to have the full Truecaller Caller ID.

You will need to enable all switches for Truecaller in iPhone Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification

If you’re unable to find the Truecaller settings under Call Blocking & Identification, don’t worry, this happens once in a while.

This is an issue we’ve seen on certain versions of iOS and we’ve reported the same to Apple. In most cases, this issue fixes itself and starts working when you try again in a few hours.

If the issue persists for more than 1 day, please try the following:

  1. Force quit iPhone Settings app

  2. Uninstall Truecaller

  3. Restart your device

  4. Reinstall Truecaller
