Caller ID & Blocking on iOS requires Phone, Settings & Truecaller app to work together.
If you notice that most calls are not identified automatically by Truecaller but you see information when manually looking up Truecaller, it’s likely that there’s an issue that needs to be reported to Apple. It’s important that you file this feedback and attach your device diagnostics soon after observing the issue.
To report Caller ID related feedback directly to Apple, ensure that you have all the prerequisites:
- iOS 18.2 or newer
- Truecaller v14.0 or newer
- Active Truecaller premium subscription
- All Caller ID & Blocking switches enabled in iPhone Settings
To submit a report, launch the Feedback Assistant app on your iPhone.
If you’re on an iOS beta version, this app should be automatically available on your phone.
If you’re not on an iOS beta version, you can still access this app by tapping on this link from your iPhone applefeedback://
(Make sure that you finish reporting in one go; putting this app in the background will discard
any drafts. You can always relaunch by tapping on the above link.)
To create sysdiagnose manually, follow these instructions:
https://it-training.apple.com/tutorials/support/sup075/
Alternatively, you can visit feedbackassistant.apple.com
and report the issue from there. In this case, you’ll need to create a sysdiagnose of your iPhone and upload it manually to the website.
Once you open the Feedback Assistant app, tap on New Feedback:
Then select Developer Technologies & SDK & follow rest of the instructions:
Title:

IMPORTANT:
Please attach the iOS Sysdiagnose to your ticket by tapping on ‘Gather iOS Sysdiagnose’.
Without this, Apple won’t be able to investigate the issue. Attach screenshots of unidentified calls or your call log, if you'd like.
Once the feedback is reported, Apple will give you a ticket ID. Please send this ticket ID to your Truecaller representative.
