How to enable Live Caller ID on iPhone?

Live Caller ID is a Premium functionality that allows you to identify any incoming call with all relevant information just by saying ‘Hey Siri, Search Truecaller’, Back-tapping twice or three times on the back of the iPhoneor by simply using the Action button. This feature helps you identify callers and decide whether to answer or decline the call.

Requirements:

  • Active Premium subscription.
  • Shortcuts app.
  • Tap on 'Add to Siri' from the Truecaller Premium tab.


Please note: Live Caller ID is currently experiencing issues on Beta iOS 18

  1. Backtapping functionality

Live Caller ID also allows premium users to identify incoming calls by back-tapping twice or three times on the back of the iPhone.

Requirements:

  • Active Premium subscription.

  • Shortcuts app.

  • Tap on 'Add to Siri' from the Truecaller Premium tab.

  • Available for: iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro & iPhone 15 Pro Max (It might not always work on older devices).

Steps to enable:

  • Go to iPhone Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap

  • Choose 'Double Tap' or 'Triple Tap' depending on how many times you want to tap the back of your iPhone to activate the action.

  • Scroll down and select 'Search Truecaller' from the list of available actions.
