Here are the required permissions and a short description of why we require them:
1. Contacts: This allows you to view, add or edit your contact book in the app.
Note: We never upload your phonebook or make it public.
2. Call Blocking & Identification: This allows us to show Caller ID and Block spam calls.
Note: Truecaller does not access your calls.
3. Notifications: In order to show you when someone is about to call you.
4. Microphone: This permission is required for you to respond to calls via Truecaller Assistant.
5. Photos: In order for you to setup a profile picture, Truecaller needs access to your Photos.
6. Camera: In order for you to setup a profile picture, Truecaller needs access to your Camera.
