Truecaller Assistant is designed to answer incoming calls and help you handle them. However, we are considering to add support for outbound calls.
Does the Assistant answer calls automatically?
You can choose which calls are sent to the Assistant, or you can enable the Assistant for all your spam calls and missed calls.
Will callers know they are talking to an Assistant?
Truecaller Assistant introduces itself as your Assistant and uses your name, so callers understand they are not speaking directly with you. You can customize the way the Assistant answers your calls.
Why does my call have a fraud or spam warning label?
In some regions, your Assistant may display a warning message during a call if the Assistant detects an attempt of fraud or spam. This helps you stay aware and decide how to proceed with the call.
Can I customize how my Assistant sounds and what it says?
You can choose your Assistant’s voice, create a custom greeting, and decide who hears it.
To change these settings, go to Assistant settings in the Truecaller app.
Does the Assistant’s conversation have a time limit?
The call is limited to two minutes.
Is my data private?
Truecaller handles Assistant calls in line with our privacy and security standards. We do not store any of the information in your calls. When the call is saved on your device we have no access to the information from the call.
