Trouble receiving the code?
- Make sure you have the latest version of Truecaller. 
- Make sure the phone number you are trying to register meets all requirements described on this page (Phone number requirements) 
- Make sure the phone number you typed in is correct. 
- Confirm you selected the correct country code from the list. 
- The system needs some time to send the code. Please wait up to 10 minutes for verification to finish. 
- Don't go back or cancel while it's trying to send the code. 
- Make sure the phone number you are trying to register can receive both SMS and phone calls. 
- You need a working internet connection, either through your mobile data or Wi-Fi. 
- Roaming or a bad connection can cause registration problems. Make sure your internet is working by loading a website. 
Phone number requirements
- You can only sign up with a phone number that is owned by you. 
- Your phone number needs to be able to receive both phone calls and text messages. 
- Turn off any apps or settings that might block calls or text messages. 
- Truecaller only works with regular mobile phone numbers. It doesn't work with internet-based (VoIP) or landline phone numbers. 
Still having issues receiving the code?
- Make sure your phone has enough credit or balance to send and receive messages. 
- Try sending and receiving messages with the number you are trying to register, to verify connection. 
- Delete Truecaller from your phone, and then download and install the newest version again.
