New Full-Screen Caller ID on Android
What changed?
We’ve rolled out a brand-new full-screen caller ID. Instead of a floating pop-up, you’ll now see who’s calling in a cleaner, full-screen view.
Why the change?
This update is part of compliance with Android 13 guidelines and is meant to offer a smoother, more consistent caller ID experience across devices.
Can I switch back to the classic pop-up caller ID?
On Android 12 or below:
Yes. You can toggle between full-screen and pop-up views by going to:
Truecaller > Settings > Calls > Caller ID AppearanceOn Android 13 and above:
Only the full-screen option is available by default.
To use the pop-up caller ID again, set your phone’s native dialer as the default calling app, then go back to Truecaller and enable pop-up mode from the Caller ID settings.
