1. What is Ghost Call?
Ghost Call lets you schedule a dummy incoming call on your phone. It’s designed to help you step away from awkward situations or boring meetings by simulating a real call.
2. Is this a premium feature?
Yes. Ghost Call is available only for Truecaller Premium users.
3. If someone uses my number to schedule a Ghost Call, will I be affected?
No. Ghost Calls do not trigger real communication with the selected contact. Your number won't be involved in any way.
4. Do Ghost Calls cost money or use mobile data?
No. Since it’s a simulated call, there’s no cost and no use of cellular data for the call itself.
5. Are Ghost Calls saved in the call log?
No. Ghost Calls don’t appear in your call history or logs.
6. Do Ghost Calls show caller ID, call alerts, or after-call screens?
No. Ghost Calls are designed to mimic a basic incoming call. Features like caller ID, call alerts, call recording, or after-call screens do not apply.
7. Can I receive real calls while a Ghost Call is active?
Yes. Ghost Calls don’t block or interfere with regular calls.
However, while a Ghost Call is ringing or ongoing, the device is put on silent mode to prevent being caught off-guard by an actual incoming call. The ringer is restored to its original state after the Ghost Call ends.
8. Which Android versions support Ghost Call?
The feature is supported on Android 7 and above.
9. What happens if I schedule a Ghost Call and lose premium before it triggers?
