How to Enable Caller ID and Spam Protection on Android (OS 11 and Above)
To identify incoming calls and block spam, robocalls, and other unwanted numbers, Truecaller must be set as your default Caller ID & Spam app.
Enable from Truecaller Settings
Open the Truecaller app
Tap the profile icon (top left corner)
Go to Settings > Calls
Under Troubleshoot Caller ID, tap Enable
When prompted, select Truecaller as the default
Enable from Device Settings
Go to your phone's Settings
Navigate to Apps > Default apps
Tap on Caller ID and spam app
Choose Truecaller
