Live Caller ID Not Working – VIVO Devices

If you're facing issues with Live Caller ID on your Vivo device, it may be due to battery restrictions or missing permissions. Follow these steps to fix it:


1. Battery Optimization

To prevent Truecaller from being restricted in the background:

  • Open Settings on your Vivo phone

  • Search for Battery

  • Tap on Battery Usage

  • Find Truecaller in the list

  • Set battery usage to Unrestricted

This ensures Truecaller can run in the background without being interrupted.


2. Display Over Other Apps

Truecaller needs permission to appear on top of other apps to show the Caller ID:

  • Long press the Truecaller app icon

  • Tap the (i) info icon or go to App Info

  • Scroll down and look for Display over other apps

  • Enable the toggle


By enabling both of these settings, Truecaller will have the access it needs to show Caller ID properly on your Vivo device.
