What happens when I submit a report?
When you report illegal content to Truecaller:
Your report is reviewed by a combination of automation tools and our dedicated team of experts.
Our team evaluates the context of your report to determine if it violates Truecaller Content Guidelines or applicable laws and decides on the appropriate action.
You will receive a confirmation email with a case reference number and an update on the outcome of your report.
For privacy reasons, we cannot disclose details of our investigation or actions taken on other users’ accounts.
If we determine that no action is warranted, you will receive an email notification. This decision will include information on how to appeal if you believe we should have handled the matter differently.
